Itinerary
Meet Lil and board our private bus. Transfer to our hotel with check-in at the “Le Rempart” hotel. Followed by a welcome cocktail and a light guided walk to the immediate surroundings to discover landmarks and familiarize ourselves with the area.
Return to the hotel for dinner together and our first night in France.
Breakfast and departure for the castle of Cormatin, with a guided visit and stroll in its French-style garden. Lunch at “Chez Doucet” (one Michelin star) to enjoy the most renowned meat in France(Charolais Beef).
After lunch we will all climb onboard a line-up of the well-known 2 CVS (the most famous Citroën car). Departure towards Cortevaix to the castle Cos-Piguet where our dear friend Olivier Devevre and his truffle dog, will spend a couple enjoyable hours in the forest teaching us everything to know about the Burgundian black truffle.
Return to the hotel for a relaxing evening on your own.
Breakfast and departure towards Lyon, visit of the Fourviere with its amazing view on the city, then, guided visit of the old city of Lyon with its “traboules”, the little bouchons Lyonnais, etc… Lunch at the Collonges ou Mont d’Or for a memorable time at “Paul Bocuse” (two Michelin stars).
Return to the hotel for dinner together.
Breakfast and departure for Beaune where Nicholas, (specialist in wine terroirs and all wines from Burgundy), will share with us all his knowledge. Visit of a wine museum and light stroll around a local vineyard.
Lunch at “Savigny les Beaune” and a beautiful afternoon in the various museums at the Château de Savigny, followed by tasting an array of wines of this beautiful domaine.
Return to the hotel for dinner together.
Breakfast and departure towards “la Bresse” to visit the museum, learn about the history of this poultry breed, and visit of an authentic local farm. Lunch in Vonnas at “Chez Georges Blanc” (two Michelin stars). Followed by a free afternoon in town to explore
Return to the hotel for an evening on your own.
Breakfast and departure towards Romanéche Thorins with visit of Georges Duboeuf empire followed by wine tasting of his best crus. Lunch and visit of Denis Chastel castle with eating in the harvesters’ room where we will share a “Machon Beaujolais.”
Return to the hotel for a light cocktail party and then packing.
Early breakfast and departure, as we say goodbye to Burgundy.

The all-inclusive price includes hotel, ground transportation, most meals with wine, all guided visits and excursions, taxes and fees.
If utilizing a credit card for payment, a 3% service fee will be applicable
(Airfare is not included – we will advise what time to arrive in Lyon.) This price is based on the Euro exchange rate not climbing over 1.35 US dollars to the Euro.
To reserve your space a $1000 per person non-refundable deposit is due. A non-refundable payment of 50% due by February 27th and balance due by May 27th.
